Specialized unit of 22 nursing beds who operate under an enhanced community care (E.C.C.) licence
Nursing Services
The type of Nursing Services we provide under this licence, performed by either the Nursing Supervisor who is an RN or the Wellness nurse who is an LPN. These may include any of the following that the resident cannot manage by themselves:
- Psych Evaluation/Medication adjustment
- 2 person Assist & help with all ADL’s
- Wound care (stage 2)
- Application of Immobilizer(s)
- Oxygen or Nebulizer treatment
- Application of Compression stocking(s)
- Changing Catheters
- Eye irrigations and ear irrigations
- Prosthetic Eye care cleaning
- Care of casts, braces and splints
- Care of amputation or fracture
- Insulin, Accu-check or any injection that requires assistance
